HVAC systems in today’s virus-laden environment are burdened with significant objectives: maintain adequate ventilation, keep high rates of exchange with exterior air and manage airflow at levels that reduce the risk of virus transfer. SPECIALIZED AIR CURTAINS THAT SANITIZE

Mars UVC®

With scientifically proven germicidal capabilities and a 99.99%-100% surface kill rate via UVC/UVV bulbs, the Mars UVC eradicates pathogens, reduces VOC odors and provides the assurance of superior sanitation. And, 99.99% of airborne bio-contaminants can be sterilized with multiple passes. The unit reduces accumulation of pathogens on the exposed surface of the air curtains internal components and minimizes pathogen redistribution.

Mars HEPAC®

Deploying the power of a True HEPA filter which captures 99.97% of microscopic pollutants and particulates as small as 0.3 microns and 2-inch pre-filters with a MERV 8 rating, the Mars HEPAC offers sanitation previously not available from a major air curtain provider. Optional components include a HEPA filter, a ULPA rated for 99.99% of particles at 0.12 micron and MERV 13 rated 2-inch pre-filters for extended usage applications or high particulate settings. Most viruses, including all SARS-CoV-2, are 0.12 micron as a single virion (unattached to any fluid droplet) but transmission is typically through liquid droplets which make them larger.

Mars Air Wash System™

Mars Air Wash™ offers entryway protection with in a vertically-mounted pass-through structure engineered to gently disperse debris from building-entering visitors and collect airborne particles and pathogens in the local area. The air wash system uses a trio of technologies that include a True HEPA filter, MERV 7-8 rated pleated pre-filters, and the dual eradication power of a cold plasma generator and UVC bulbs—scientifically proven to eradicate and eliminate viruses and pathogens through repeated air cycle exposures and direct surface contact from the UVC light. Noxious odors from VOCs are also eliminated.
